Kidde Fire Trainers to Support New Training Facility in Saudi Arabia
Fire Science Academy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (FSA-KSA) signs Memorandum of Understanding with Kidde Fire Trainers for the support in developing a Fire Training Facility in Jubail.

The Fire Science Academy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (FSA-KSA) in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will with ongoing consulting assistance from the University of Nevada, Reno Fire Science Academy Worldwide (FSAW), soon be breaking ground on its new training facility. This new facility will provide professional instruction in fire fighting and disaster management for emergency responders in the Kingdom and the region beginning in 2011. 2010 Training Dates Are Filling Up Fast
The spring and fall 2010 Company Special Training dates are filling up fast on the Fire Science Academy’s calendar. Pump Row 2.0

Pump Row 2.0 Update
The ConocoPhillips, Los Angeles Refinery Fire School and this week’s Advanced Exterior Industrial Firefighter class each burned the new Pump Row prop this week. The prop looks great and the teams were challenged by the various burn points available. The LPG and Rail Car prop structures have been placed onto the pad. The Fire Science Academy
Welcomes School Tour
From time to time throughout the year, the Fire Science Academy has the privilege of hosting students from the local school districts for a field trip. Over the last two weeks, school groups from West Wendover, Carlin, and Elko and been on campus. While here, they have the chance to tour the campus, try on bunker gear used by firefighters during their training, and to observe the live training taking place on the training field. To arrange a tour for your group, please give us a call at (775) 754-6003. Tours are available throughout the year

Web Registration
Web registration is available for many of FSA’s open enrollment courses. To view courses, click on the training programs menu above or click here for upcoming courses available for web registration with credit card payment. Choose your course and look for the “click here to register” link. Follow the prompts to check out and establish your secure, online enrollment.

Courses that do not include the “click here to register” link are not available for web registration at this time. Please call (775) 754-6003 to register for these courses or for assistance with web registration. Check back for more online registration options and information.

Important Note: All FSA courses are reviewed 28 calendar days prior to the course start date. Seats on hold are not taken into consideration when the FSA conducts the course review and final course status will be based on the number of officially enrolled students. The FSA recommends that students NOT make travel or lodging arrangements until they have been contacted by the Registrar’s office regarding the status of the course(s) in which they are enrolled. The FSA reserves the right to cancel any course with fewer than the minimum enrollment listed with each course. The FSA will not be responsible for costs associated with a course cancellation and will make every effort to enroll students in the next available course.
